Last updated: June 7, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Independent Test Prep LMS, including lessons, practice questions, explanations, account features, and related learning tools.
Before public launch: replace this note with the site owner's legal name, business address if required, contact email, governing law, and any payment or refund terms if paid access is added.
By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you use the site on behalf of a learner, child, student, school, tutoring program, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that user or organization.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site.
The site provides independent educational lessons and practice activities for test-preparation and skill-building purposes. It is not a testing center, school, diploma-granting institution, admissions service, government agency, or official exam provider.
The site does not issue official scores, diplomas, certificates, admissions decisions, or official eligibility determinations.
Independent Test Prep LMS is an independent learning resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by GED Testing Service LLC, the American Council on Education, College Board, or any official testing organization.
GED® is a registered trademark of GED Testing Service LLC. SAT® is a registered trademark of College Board. These names are used only to identify the exams and learning goals that students may be preparing for.
All lessons, examples, explanations, visuals, and practice questions provided by this site are independently created for study purposes. They are not official GED® or SAT® test questions and should not be treated as official exam materials.
Users may use site content for personal study, parent-guided study, tutoring, or internal classroom preparation where authorized. Users may not copy, republish, sell, scrape, mass-download, redistribute, or use the content to build a competing product without written permission from the site owner.
Users may use the site for lawful educational purposes. If a learner is under the age of majority, the learner should use the site with permission from a parent, guardian, school, or responsible adult.
If a learner is under 13, the site should only be used with appropriate parent, guardian, or school consent. Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a child's account information and learning records as described in the Privacy Policy.
Additional guidance for minor learners is available on the Parents and Minors page.
Users are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under their accounts. Do not share passwords, impersonate another person, create accounts using false information, or use another user's account without permission.
Notify the site owner promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization.
Practice activities are intended to support learning. Scores, explanations, answer feedback, and progress information are educational estimates and may not predict official exam performance.
In the current phase, practice is multiple-choice only and grading is handled locally by the site. Written-response scoring, essay grading, and external AI grading are not active. If AI or written-response features are added later, these Terms and the Privacy Policy should be updated before those features are launched.
The site does not guarantee that any user will pass an exam, reach a target score, receive a diploma, enter a school, qualify for a program, or achieve any specific academic or professional outcome.
Users remain responsible for checking official exam requirements, registration rules, testing policies, accommodations, fees, deadlines, and identification requirements with the appropriate official exam provider.
Users agree not to misuse the site. Prohibited conduct includes:
Users may submit answers, practice attempts, account information, support requests, feedback, or other information through the site. Users are responsible for the information they submit and must have the right to submit it.
By submitting information, users grant the site owner permission to use it as needed to operate the site, provide learning feedback, maintain records, improve content quality, provide support, and protect the service.
Use of the site is also governed by the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, how long it may be retained, and how parents, guardians, or users may request access, correction, or deletion.
The site may link to or embed third-party resources, such as educational videos or external references. Those third-party sites and services are not controlled by the site owner and may have their own terms, privacy policies, advertising practices, fees, or tracking technologies.
Links to third-party resources do not mean the site endorses, controls, or is responsible for those resources.
The current phase does not define paid subscriptions, refunds, billing cycles, or cancellation terms. If paid access, subscriptions, tutoring, certificates, digital products, or other paid services are added, the site owner must update these Terms before launch of those paid features.
The site and its original content, design, lesson structure, explanations, visuals, question banks, code, and learning materials are owned by the site owner or licensed to the site owner, except for third-party trademarks or third-party resources identified separately.
No rights are granted except the limited right to access and use the site for authorized educational purposes under these Terms.
The site is intended to use original study materials. If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright or other rights, contact the site owner with enough detail to identify the material, explain your claim, and provide a way to contact you.
Before public launch, add a dedicated copyright or legal contact email here.
The site owner may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue lessons, questions, features, accounts, or access at any time. The site may be unavailable because of maintenance, security work, hosting problems, software updates, or events outside the site owner's control.
The site owner may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, misuses the service, infringes intellectual property, threatens other users, or uses the site in a way that could harm the platform or its users.
The site is provided for educational use on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site owner disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Although the site owner works to provide accurate explanations and helpful practice, educational content can contain mistakes. Users should report suspected errors so they can be reviewed and corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines, exam outcomes, academic decisions, or reliance on practice scores.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some parts of this section may not apply to every user.
Users agree to defend and hold harmless the site owner from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from their misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of rights, or unauthorized use of another person's account or information.
Before public launch, the site owner should replace this section with the specific governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution process that matches the legal location of the business or operator. Until then, disputes will be handled according to applicable law.
The site owner may update these Terms as the site grows, especially before adding paid plans, AI features, analytics, mobile apps, school dashboards, tutoring services, or new user roles. Continued use of the site after updated Terms are posted means the user accepts the updated Terms.
Before public launch, add the site owner's legal name and dedicated support/legal contact email here. Until then, contact the site administrator who provided account access.
