You have the subject skills; this is about using them well.

Pacing. Each GED® test gives you a bit over a minute per question. If one stalls you, mark your best guess and move on -- there's time to come back.

Never leave a blank. There is no penalty for a wrong answer, so a guess always beats an empty box. Eliminate what you can, then choose.

Take the tests one at a time. Because the four subjects are separate tests, you can focus your studying and schedule them when you're ready for each. Pass them one by one.

Use what the test gives you: the calculator and formula sheet in math, and the passages, graphs, and maps in every subject.

Quick Check

Is there any penalty for a wrong answer on the GED®? Answer yes or no.
