3. Test-Day Game Plan

You have the science skills; this is about using them well across 34 questions.

• Pacing. About 2.5 minutes per question. If one stalls you, lock in a best guess, flag it, and move on.
• Read the last line. Know exactly what the question asks -- a cause, an effect, a prediction, or a value from a graph.
• Estimate and sanity-check. A quick estimate catches a misread graph or a decimal error.
• Never leave a blank. No penalty for wrong answers -- eliminate what you can, then choose.
• Use what the test gives you: the passages, graphs, and diagrams, plus the calculator and formula sheet when a question needs them.
