This is the elite GED® Social Studies practice exam -- the toughest of all five. The format never changes:
- 35 questions in 70 minutes, weighted toward Civics, with History, Economics, and Geography; scored 100-200, 145 to pass.
What makes Level 5 the hardest of all: there is not a single routine question. You will reason about political philosophy (the social contract), compare and evaluate primary sources, weigh judicial activism vs. restraint, analyze comparative advantage and policy trade-offs, and apply the tragedy of the commons. If you can score well here, the real GED® Social Studies test will feel comfortable.
